Well...I'm back from my adventure in Eastern Europe. It was incredible....but I'm jet lagged beyond belief right now, so my mind isn't quite alert enough to write about it. But I will eventually....possibly...
As great as it was to be traveling, it feels good to be home. And it feels good to be summer. And my head is pulsating right now so I'm going to bed...even though its 7:27.

Well, the year is coming to a close. Unfortunately, I feel done with school for the year, even though I have SAT II's tomorrow, finals next week, and ACT's next Saturday (yes....that is a BUZZKILL).
But I have a feeling this summer will be a good one. There's a lot of books I want to read and a lot of albums I want to listen to (just think of all the Amoeba runs...). Also, this is my first summer with a car, which will be nice.
So that's about it for now...

Playing at Eaglemania was fun today.
We've definitely had better jams, but playing on stage is always a good experience, even though no one was really listening.

- Mr. Bean - Laffy Taffy jokes that don't make sense - Vegetable woman - Failed attempt to swing dance - Sumo wrestling - Night ends with a buzzkill

Of course it was much more than that, but I don't feel like typing out every single thing that happened.

Prom is coming up......and I realized I don't think I really want to go...
...mostly just because I don't know who to ask.
I almost feel "obligated" to go because I won that bid in the raffle. Obviously I could sell it, its not a matter of the bid being wasted.
So what should I do? Sell the bid and make a mad Amoeba run, or suck it up and ask someone to prom?

Today, Fish and I realized there's that Eaglemania thing in May where they have bands play, and we're totally doing it.
Something to look forward to.
Religion project is done.....took a total of 1 minute to set up at school this morning, while other groups frantically searched for their missing piece of PVC pipe.

The talent show was amazing. I had the most fun I've ever had on stage, and for the first time, I was completely comfortable in front of a huge crowd. Thanks to anyone who came.

Still, the highlight of the evening most definitely was jamming outside with Father Ted and Doctor D (who plays a MEAN stand up bass by the way). Who would've thought?

Last night was a pretty good night. I played and sang "Red House" at the coffee house fund raiser, and it went a lot better than I expected. I went to John Bryan's after for the "after-party" haha with about 10 other people, and we slept there, woke up and had donuts, and went home. Tonight I might go play poker at Kevin's house with everyone, but I don't know yet. Yeah....

i guess it was kind of an exciting weekend....i shouldve studied for finals but i really didn't at all

friday - went to fish's house, had a really good jam with joey...and the night ended with about 10 of us being detained by the police for curfew/tresspassing/hookah...
saturday - nothing really....
sunday - saw eric johnson at the key club. it was weird because i went alone, but it was basically packed with guitar players (most of them over 30) who also came alone.
monday - went to a physics study session at starbucks and managed to study no physics at all in about 2 hours

and that was my weekend.....

i broke at least a dozen eggs trying to get the egg drop right and i still haven't cleaned up the carnage outside.....

School has sucked chicken salad off a horses ass through a straw the past few weeks...but i guess that's how it goes the week before finals. Orals, ridiculous homework assignments....and then the physics olympics....shit....I haven't even decided which events I'm doing for that yet...
Also I've had terrible insomnia latley....worse than I've ever had it...and I've been getting these chest/possibly heart-related pains that make it hard to inhale...and make it impossible to relax at night...

But.....I did just buy Eric Johnson tickets for this Sunday at the Key Club ....he's such an incredible fucking guitar player.....I don't have anyone to go with because I don't know anyone who would really be into his music....but I'll figure something out...

tonight i went to the led zeppelin laser show at csun....all i can say is.....wow
amazing music, awesome show. there was pretty much no one in the laserium besides me, jimmy, aren, shaina and joey....so that was crazy.

oh yeah....jordan lee told me today that drama is doing a play about the beatles....so after school we went and talked to ms. labrot about the possibility of us playing the music for it. she seemed all for it....she liked the idea of us getting involved, but she has to run it by the musical director.
this would be really awesome if it worked out......i know it almost sounds cliche, but without the beatles, i wouldn't even be playing music today.
